Now on Blip.tv!

NEW! Now on Blip.tv!

We’re very excited to bring you new ways of watching and listening to the podcast! We tried our very first all-video podcast recently, and we’re hooked! And as the reports come in, we see that you are too.

The main challenge we face is the high cost of bandwidth, so we have decided to start hosting the podcast on Blip.tv as well as our site.

What does this mean?

Apart from not us having to pay for the bandwidth, Blip also offers many great benefits to us and you:

  1. More flexible player, which can be embedded anywhere, even on your own blog or site.
  2. Fully browsable Blip channel, for those who have had site connection issues here.
  3. (in progress) Distribution to other places, like Tivo and Boxee.
  4. Embedded advertising, which helps us with our server costs.
  5. We will still always be available on iTunes and here on the site.

It should be a pretty seamless transition, and you may not even notice the difference here.  We imagine there will be some happy campers among those who don’t like iTunes or who have had connection issues with our site.  Also, we will not need to rely so much on donations and merchandise to support the podcast.

This is a work in progress, and we really need your feedback.  Please post feedback here on this post, or send to mail@chuckpodcast.com.

HOW MANY SEASON DO U THINK ChUCK WILL HAVE

  2. Gray Jones Says:

    Hi,

in a perfect world, I’d love to see it beat the longest running daytime soaps (50+ seasons)… ;-)

That said, I think we can be very confident in a fourth season, and if that does well, a fifth could easily happen. I would love to see a sixth or even a seventh, but when you compare to similar shows, it gets significantly less likely the further on it gets.

For me, I would love to see a definite end date, like Lost or BSG. That way they could wrap things up neatly, and go out with a bang that leaves you satisfied. Also, I would love to see them end with solid ratings, rather than dragging it on until it has to be cancelled because the ratings are declining.

We all know shows that go on a season too long, after the story dries out, and cast members or creative people leave because of contract/salary issues. It often ends up as a pitiful mess, and that’s not what I want for Chuck!

    My two bits, anyway.

    Cheers,
    Gray.

  3. AJ Says:

Thanks Gray can’t for episode 106 and im 13 and live in Canada so i get to see it tomorrow night on citytv but i hp[e there is many season to come

  4. AJ Says:

Is there a way you can make the videos on chucktv or chuckmeout viewable in Canada also and not just the united status

  5. Gray Jones Says:

A lot of Canadians use something called “Hotspot Shield” to do this. Your mileage may vary — not everything is playable. Also, keep in mind you may be breaking laws to do this.

Whenever the content says “US only” it has nothing to do with us — it is streaming content that the provider will not allow non-US viewers to play.

    Hope this helps,
    Gray.

  6. AJ Says:

Thanks Gray how long do you think the character hannah will last? and do you think she will have relationship with chuck because they seem to connect together I just saw 106 last night awesome it was great seeing them together, but on the other hand I read on chucktv that other people might try to snatch her away from chuck at the buymore? What do you think Gray from visiting chuck and being a huge fan like I am. I love this spy stuff because when i grow up i want to bw aa police officer or work for the FBI haha CHUCK IS AWESOME SHOW

  7. AJ HEER Says:
